The Strategy Years | 2009 - 2011
Recently, I've been obsessed with integrated strategy. I think this is an evolutionary development for creatives - drawing inspiration from research and analytics to connect my work to business goals. From lightweight discovery methods to internal performance statistics, insight and metrics validate my strategic and creative decisions. And downstream analytics are the cherry on top, allowing me to prove ROI.

The Digital Years | 2006 - 2009
During this period, I led teams of creative and technical talent to produce a multitude of experiential microsites, rich internet applications and content management solutions. In addition, I consulted with companies to develop proprietary platforms. My primary role was conceptualizing solutions while managing projects from cradle to grave. From ground up system architecture to haptic interface design, each project was an opportunity to push and grow.

The Broadcast Years | 2003 - 2006
Growing restless with website design, I was eager to break into broadcast advertising and filmmaking. I quickly won some key projects from local restaurants to regional banks to semi-national retailers. I had the pleasure to work with some great on-screen and behind-the-scenes talent to produce not only a myriad of :30's and :60's but also a handful of long-form, narrative productions. During this period I really honed my chops for copywriting, directing talent and coordinating production.

The Dot-Com Years | 1999 - 2003
On the heels of the dot-com bubble I was fortunate enough to work with a talented group of technologists and programmers under the direction of a forward-thinking entrepreneur. I was UX lead on a slew of deep development projects from custom shopping carts, content management solutions, community portals and social platforms. In addition, I managed a small creative group and concepted/executed dozens of corporate identity and traditional advertising projects.

"Martin truly understood what we were looking to get out of the next phase of our brand and how to integrate the new website into an easy to use workable model. He was patient and amazingly considerate of our needs as a smaller company. Plainly stated, Martin knows what he is doing and it shows."
- Sara Kell Bowers, Fara Coffee

"I've worked with Martin off and on since 2003 through the development of several different businesses. His creativity and his commonsense approach always deliver. I feel like he always has a sense of what I'm trying to communicate. Very personable, and confident in his abilities."
- Elizabeth Winslow, Farmhouse Delivery

"I have worked closely with Martin Manuel on many projects for a variety of clients since 2005. Whether it be print, web or broadcast, Martin delivers more and better with each assignment."
- Howard Theriot, Catch Light Productions

"Martin's team set up a mobile studio inside our restaurant to capture the cuisine straight from the kitchen. He captured the essence of each dish individually with his techniques and vision. Martin also designed our brand identity with a logo and website that bridged the gap from our historic Spindletop theme to our contemporary cuisine. "
- Ty Gwynn, Spindletop Steakhouse

"I appreciate your creativity, thinking process and teamwork, plus your honesty in terms of scheduling. The project is a success in part because of your contribution."
- Tara, The American Botanical Council
